SAB was founded by women who defy preconceived notions about what women are capable of; it employs a gender lens in all its programming and activities to ensure that women are represented and have access to the services they require.
Significantly SAB established a platform dedicated to women empowerment because it shares articles and information about women’s needs and rights and emphasises their success stories. In 2020, SAB partnered with the Tastak I organisation to provide training for women on peacebuilding, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
We are established and run by strong Syrian women, breaking the stereotype of what Syrian women are capable of, to help those whose lives have been turned on their heads by the current conflict in Syria. Our work has changed lives and you can too.
