There are 6.5 million internally displaced people in Syria, including 2.5 million children. This is the largest internally displaced population in the world. The rate of displacement has not slowed. In 2017, more than 1.8 million people were displaced, many for the second or third time. But conditions are the worst in northwest Syria, where roughly two-thirds of the 4.1 million individuals are displaced Syrians. Nearly 2.2 million people reside in camps, with 1.7 million residing in tent cities in a war zone.

As we saw last winter, Syrians can no longer be left in tents; snowstorms across Syria and neighbouring countries have put millions of displaced Syrians at risk of freezing to death, and several children have tragically perished.

The project aims to provide 50 displaced families with dignified housing. Each home costs £3800 ($4300) in total, including all services! While the cost of each house will be divided into 10 shares at £390/$430 per share, donations of any size are accepted and greatly appreciated!
