What We Do

Souriyat across Borders (SAB) is a women-led charity founded in 2012 by five Syrian women as an emergency response to the humanitarian crisis to meet the fundamental needs of Syrian refugees.
SAB was initially formed in response to the displacement in Syria and the massive influx of Syrian refugees into Jordan
SAB ran and provided several vocational training programmes for the most vulnerable populations, including women and people with disabilities
SAB primarily provides ongoing support for Taujihi (the Jordanian high school diploma) students.
SAB was founded by women who defy preconceived notions about what women are capable of.

Where We Work

SAB are making a difference wherever they are, whether it be in Syria, Jordan, or the United Kingdom providing life saving aid and life sustaining support.

How To Help

Your time and donation can change a displaced family's future.

Build a Home in Syria

There are 6.2 million internally displaced people in Syria, including 2.5 million children. This is the largest internally displaced population in the world. With YOUR support, SAB aims to provide 50 families in Syria with a new home.
